The Large Promark Broomsticks are hand-made of 100% natural broomcorn and produce a unique sound.similar to brushes, but without the metallic overtones. Moveable "bands" allow the spread of the Broom Sticks to be adjusted for a wide variety of applications from a heavy backbeat to traditional "stirring". Broomcorn is an inherently rugged material and, as a result, Broom Sticks are incredibly durable.

I love these Broomsticks! I travel a lot on business and I put them in my suitcase for practicing in hotel rooms, etc. The adjustable bands let you achieve anything from a brush feel to a harder almost stick-like feel. Our band has to sometimes practice in our guitar player's house, and the Broomsticks allow you to smash out on the cymbals and drums without being too loud. As mentioned before they are great for practicing anywhere: desk, table, your legs, or your practice pad. They do have a nice bounce to them when adjusted to your liking. I have had one set for about 4 years, and the rubber rings are starting to crack, but are still holding up. The straw is drying out a bit...so no smoking (anything) near them. I would definitely get another set!
