Comments:

I bought these mallets for a quick and loud marimba solo. The rubberbands that wrap around these mallets kept on falling off only after about a week. This may have been because of how much I practiced, but the rubber should have stayed on the poly. I would recommend getting the Innovative equivalent to these so you don't have to worry about the rubberband
