    this mallet was perfect. I'm a freshman at burleson high school and don't know a lot about mallets but this pair was way better than my last pair. They were the best up until I snapped one in half on a rimshot. Tape and all and went flying across the room right in the middle of a rehersal. Later that week, second bass broke hers too. They just must be too fragile.
