This user-friendly edition of Puccini's La Boheme contains the percussion/timpani score as well as the separate parts. This great edition was created by Theresa Dimond and has been tested by the percussion section of the Los Angeles Opera. Born out of necessity, Dimond has constructed a time-saving score that intended to be the "performer's edition". By standardizing notation and location of parts, this score combines several different versions of the original score. The rehearsal numbers correspond to the Kalmus parts and the 1987 Dover score. The Dover score is a reproduction of a circa 1920 Ricordi edition.

These parts are such a life saver! On a recent production of La Boheme, Orchestra Iowa contracted Timp. +1 perc. By ordering these Dimond parts, I saved HOURS of writing/condensing the original parts (7 or 8) into one score form part. The timpanist, who doubled on timp/perc, and I were able to cover almost all of the parts using the Dimond score form part and some multiple percussion creativity. The cues are great too!

Very thoroughly done! So helpful for percussiion sections with reduced personnel. Has updated timp tunings but also original notes in parentheses.
