Remo Falams Smooth White Marching Snare Drum Head

This drum head is being by my son in his high school marching band. This the 2nd head in 2 years. Through the rain, cold, Florida sun and being kicked around while traveling, the head always performed like brand new. Steve Weiss gave me great advise and shipping was fast.

all around great head. we have these on our pearl championships at school and they sound nice and bright even with concert snare side heads. a few downsides. once you crank them, the white film pulls apart a teeny bit and lines appear on the head. and they're a little hard on the hands. just a little. but other than that, great head

These are pretty horrible. I'll save you the money and frustration of putting another drumhead on. As soon as these are put on a drum (in my case, a 14" pearl carbonply... Awesome) and you begin to crank down on it, lines develop in the head, and I'm talking barely cranking. As soon as it gets past taught, soft spots form and soon after, the Kevlar and all came undone in a 4" tear along the front edge of the drum... Freak occurrence? Nope. It happened on four of the drums. Remo is tanking. They even look kinda weird, theyre just a solid white face with very little definition of the Kevlar or whatever the heck they're using.
