I am very satisfied with the product. It is a little tricky getting the right balance between the tension screws and the center knob but I think that is something peculiar to the brand of timpani.

Best for older drums

Comments:

Size guide was helpful. For older balanced action drums this is the way to go. They are brighter than Renaissance or Strata heads, obviously, but they go on easy and tune up no sweat. I get almost a full octave on each drum with a pretty wide mid range. The line across the middle is hilariously important. The tone is SO much better when you set it up sideways like the guide says. Don't skip that step.
