These heads sound fantastic. They have a great tone quality. The sound is very nice in the higher tuning ranges. It can get a little blurry in the lower ranges though. But if you have a clean snareline then crank these guys up and you will sound great.

I feel the white max is the best sounding head on the market. They produce a very nice bright wet snare sound. The Black Maxes feel better but the white max is not much different on the hands.

These heads are very great sounding and I just equipped it onto a Pearl and it sounds fantastic with the Remo Fallams II bottom head.
