After over 40 years without one, I can't believe I didn't do this before now. I've only had the Roc n Soc for 2 years, which in itself has proven to be a godsend. The back rest is really worth it.

The attachment to the chair itself is very easy to put on. If you buy the chair, spend the extra for the back. You can literally feel like you're lounging back with your feet on the ground and play drums comfortably.
