Special hemispherical rubber feet on the stand isolate pad noise, while the dedicated NEQ-K and NEQ-H bases for kick and hi-hat pedals also have special rubber foot designs to keep foot stomps contained. The bases have been newly developed for the V-Drums Quiet Design series, evolving on the design of the popular NE-10 Noise Eater product.
