The Rutgers Solos Volume I by Thomas O'Hara, Paul Nalesnik, and Michael Winnicki is a collection of 8 solos for solo snare drum and 1 duet for snare drum and bass drum (3 solos from each composer). The composers, after studying intensively with Joseph Tompkins and exploring his French-American rudimental style, were heavily inspired to compose for snare drum. Each composer blends different styles and influences into their solos to create a unique collection of rudimental snare drum solos.
