Great sound!

Comments:

The 19" Chinese is a particularly good cymbal among the other Paragons (as well as the splashes). Blends into any rock music perfectly, even fusion/jazz-rock. It works well in a wide range of dynamics; provides a full, very dense sound. Can be used as a crash cymbal if you prefer, as well. I like the sound when playing tremolos on it with soft timpani mallets. One thing - the reason I gave only four stars - is that it's not as durable as the other cymbals in the Paragon line-up. My set is about 3 years old and I don't know if it's just me, but the Chinese and the Splash started to develop cracks (basically the effect cymbals). The chinese has two, about 2 centimeters long cracks outwards the center hole, that I noticed about half a year ago. The splash first had a few centimeters long, concentric crack, which has elongated since then. I have no damage on my hi-hat, crash, and ride. I don't know whether a cymbal's lifetime can be estimated, or how long is it supposed to last, but I bet you're not a monster, no need to worry. I just mentioned this, it's possible that this is only by chance. Cheers
