Sabian 19" SR2 Thin China Cymbal - Product Information

Sabian has introduced the SR2, a line of Factory ReConditioned Cast Bronze Cymbal models available at considerably less cost than brand new.

This Sabian SR2 19" Thin China Cymbal comes from high-quality pre-played SABIAN models including those played by major SABIAN artists, returned from consignments, reviewed in magazines, displayed at trade shows, or even cymbals that have come through our production process with slight surface blemishes that ultimately disappear with the all-new Sabian SR2 'look'.

Said SABIAN VP Sales Peter Stairs: "SR2 consists mainly of cymbals that have made their way back to SABIAN for various reasons and have been selected by the SABIAN Vault Team for reconditioning. As such it formally addresses two popular points: the market for reconditioned cymbals, and the matter of recycling. Because this line is dependent on the amount of cymbals available for reconditioning at any given time, availability of this line will fluctuate and there may be times when there will be little or nothing to offer. This line is strictly reconditioned cymbals."

Though the cymbals for Sabian SR2 are originally from the top SABIAN series – AA, HH, AAX, HHX, and Vault – once reconditioned they have a uniquely new surface appearance and are priced by size only.

Sabian SR2 Cymbals are covered by a 30-day warranty.

Unbelievable!

Comments:

I just purchased one these 19" Sabian SR china cymbals and I cannot believe what a deal I got.....I actually think Steve Weiss Music may have made a mistake! A friend of mine told me about this series of cymbals and how great they were for the price so I decided to take a chance on this China cymbal. For just 95 bucks it didn't seem like too much of a risk. Much to my shock when it arrived here, it is actually a hand hammered refurb. You can still clearly see the hammering marks in the finish AND it sounds like a hammered cymbal, dark, rih and full sounding. I can't believe I just bought a 19" hand hammered china for 95 bucks.
