Comments:

Works great. Excellent quality & definitely feels more like playing on a real drum head with 2/3rds less calories. Also great for playing brushes which was always an ordeal setting up a piece of cardboard or hack. Highly recommend.

I like this pad!

Comments:

If you are looking for a pad that feels like a concert snare drum, then the Quiet Tone mute is the way to go. So far, this pad feels really good. I have gone from playing on this pad to a real drum with very little adjustment time compared to some of the other leading brand pads. The surface marred the tips of my sticks at first, but after awhile, just like a normal snare drum head, the coating wears off and the worn circle in the center of the drum feels great to me. I have practiced some rudimental drumming on this pad as well, but if you are playing kevlar heads, then the transition to a real drum isn't as good. I have also used this pad as a snare drum mute to practice on a snare drum and it works amazingly well. This has quickly become my favorite snare drum practice surface.

Quiet snare practice

Comments:

This is a very well made, high quality over-the-snare drum mute. I've incorporated it into my muted practice drum set and it works very well for playing with full volume dynamics with significantly less volume. Recommended.

Very nice

Comments:

I was trying to find a practice pad, because I could not practice loud passages on my apartment, and the practice pad I had before this one, was way to "fake", didn't feel like a drum. This practice pad is very nice for loud and soft playing. It's not exactly a snare drum, but the rebound is fairly close. It has a nice design, sturdy, kind of heavy, but that's ok. Great product !
