The Doug DeMorrow DD500 mallets from Salyers Percussion have a unique design featuring a poly ball around a solid brass rod. The result is a xylophone mallet that produces a big, rich and full tone that is great for solo or ensemble playing.
The Doug DeMorrow collection of mallets is designed to provide the performer with more tone and projection than any other series of mallets. All mallets in the collection have large brass weighted inner cores, various layers of rubber and are wrapped with a very durable wool blend yarn. They are perfect for the modern percussion ensemble, band and orchestra work or even marching band.
