The Salyers Makoto Nakura Series NM1 Marimba Mallet is a great bass mallet in a graduated set. On it's own it delivers a well rounded tone ideal for bass passages in a marimba ensemble or pieces like Bach's Cello Suite. A weighted core is covered in synthetic yarn. It features rattan handles and works equally well on marimba or vibraphone.
