Sheronick-Manhattan Ave.-Frame drum - Product Information
Manhattan Ave. was written in conjunction with Yousif Sheronick's online frame drum course Frame Drums 101. It serves as a quasi "final exam" to showcase what students have learned during the course. Both Hand Held and Lap Style playing positions are learned in the lessons along with all of the practice and playing techniques used in this composition. Those being the Glen Velez Handance technique, split hand, South Indian vocalizations, snapping, Glen Velez fast fingerings, ratio exercises and playing with a brush. Manhattan Ave. is a culmination of Yousif's own personal playing style and teaching method.
