Smith, Stuart Saunders-Clay Singing-Solo percussion theater - Product Information
Clay Singing consists of four scenes, each with its own set of instruments. It opens with a performance of a poem by the composer, the theme of which is the creation of life from inanimate material animated by singing. In the course of the following scenes, the performer delivers more spoken text and occasionally sings, sometimes while playing the instruments. An interesting piece for the theatrically inclined percussionist.
