Giuliani-Sonatine Op. 71 No.1 arr. Kite-M

Sonatine Op. 71, No. 1 by Mauro Giuliani transcribed and edited by Rebecca Kite. This three movement work consists of a first movement, Maestoso, a Menuetto with Trio and a last Rondo movement. From the Classical era, this piece has attractive melodies and harmonic progressions. It is appropriate as a major work on a college recital. This piece allows the marimbist to perform a work that uses the standard four mallet independence techniques and develop musical expression. This four mallet solo is scored for 4.3 octave marimba.
