Houllif-Studio Drum Set Duos

Studio Drum Set Duos by Murray Houllif is a collection of duets that are suitable for recital, contest or studio teaching/pedagogy. Various contemporary styles of drum set playing are represented including jazz, rock, funk, Latin and rudimental. By playing from the score, the teacher and student may view what each other is playing and the student is given incentive to aspire to eventually learn the teacher's more difficult part. Duets are great funt o play while imparting important musical elements to the student such as: solid time-keeping, blending and balancing, phrasing, contrasting dynamics and even an "ear" for what a good tone should sound like. Each duet is playable on a four-piece drum kit.
