She was delivered yesterday. Was packaged sufficiently and arrived quickly. Looks and sounds beautiful. 43 Hz fundamental. Multiple ranges of sounds. I cleaned with brasso twice, as I did with my other unlathed gong. Keeps mallets and flumies cleaner. Very happy. Plays well with my other gongs. The team at Steve Weiss was helpful as usual.

Beautiful Sun Gong

I love my new Sun Gong. It's beautiful as an art piece, but even more beautiful when played. I've used it in a few sound baths so far and everyone loves it. I'll be purchasing some new mallets now and will save some $ for another gong to complement this one. Love This Gong

I have two other 32" gongs from another company: one fully unlathed and the other fully lathed. The Sun Gong is a hybrid of those two styles. It looks great and I've been getting some very interesting sounds from it. It has a phenomenally rich, resonant fundamental tone that sustains for a remarkably long time. It resists crashing but can generate a lot of subtly evocative tones when you use different types of mallets on it. I'm very pleased with it.

I love my new Sun Gong. It's so beautiful, I have it hanging like artwork in my living room when I'm not using it in a sound bath. The sound is outstanding. Delivery was quick and I'm so happy with my purchase!
