Johannessen-Take Hold of Me (SCD)-V/M

Take Hold of Me by Olin Johannessen is a duet for vibraphone and marimba has a listenable accessibility while still being challenging from a technical standpoint. It calls upon the performers to have good versatility with 4-mallet control as well as a solid sense of communication with the other player as it weaves in and out of multiple time signatures and phrasings.

Take Hold of Me comes with a full, bound score and includes individual parts for printing from an included CD-Rom. The marimba part is written for a 4.6 octave (low E) marimba but can be played on a 4.3 octave marimba.
