A really nice compact hardware pack w/bag

Comments:

I've got multiple sets of these lightweight hardware packs - the Tama Flat Base, the DW Ultra-light, the Pearl Flat Base pack and the earlier version of the Gibralter Flat Base pack. They all have their pros and cons. I really like the Tama, but I do wish they had either a boom type stand or some flat-base legs that can raise up so you can nest the stands closer together. The stands and the bag are not the lightest of weight, but VERY compact. I bought an extra cymbal stand plus the tom stand and they still fit in the bag - along with 2 sets of floor tom legs. Unless you use a double-pedal, the high hat is good for a lightweight stand. As an aside, I have the classic bass drum pedal, which is a really nice general use pedal. PROS - compact, solid (good metal), cymbal stands go up to a good height, bag can fit up to 3 cymbal stands, hi-hat stand, SD stand, tom stand, and a few sets of floor tom legs. The tom/sd basket clip system is really good. CONS - difficult to nest stands - would be better with an adjustable flat base and/or a boom stand.
