Timber Drum Company Gives us a Two pack of their American Hardwood Blocks. Each block is carved from a solid piece of hardwood then hand rubbed with an oil finish. Timber's wood blocks produce a very playable natural woody tone and the one piece design projects appropriately through other instruments in an ensemble. The Combo of the Large and Medium blocks in this package will allow for neat complex rhythms.

The Large Block's Dimensions are 1.625" x 2.5" x 8"

The Medium Block's dimensions are 1.625" x 2.5" x 7"

For the price they aren't bad at all. You will need to put some rubber dots on the bottom corners, as the blocks don't come with anything to elevate them off a table. And they have a very contact-heavy sound, with a shorter, shallow-ish sounding resonance in comparison to other blocks. Not a bad sound just different.
