Versatile Mallets

I originally bought these mallets as a replacement to the mallets for another brand of tongue drum that had dried out. The Timber Drum mallets are so superior to the cheap ones I have, and they look like they will last for a long time. I discovered that I'm using them for other things, too. I used them recently to warm up before playing a piece for friends on Zoom so they wouldn't hear me warming up (before switching to my performance mallets), and I wouldn't disturb the ongoing conversation or my husband who was working from home in the next room. I also imagine they will be an option when I add woodblock to my kit. I was going to just keep them with my tongue drum, but they've earned a spot in my stick bag instead. I'm really glad I bought them!
