Udow-Sandsteps I

This percussion duo begins with both players performing a slow lyrical contrapuntal melody at a 4 1/3 octave "low A" marimba which melds into a second section completely improvised with free instrumentation; the third section for marimba and auxiliary instruments (as determined by the performers) is a folk music-like, mixed metered melody which begins slowly, and ends fast and allows for improvisation.
