Vater Manhattan 7A Nylon Tip Hickory Drumsticks

I wanted to try a nylon tip stick for the first time in years to get a different sound from a heavy cymbal I use in jazz gigs. The nylon tip did achieve the sound I hoped for, but I also found I like the feel and balance of this stick. I may go to the wood tip version for my other gigs. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a good 7A. Thank you Steve Weiss for your excellent service and product offering.

I like the feel of Vater Manhattans and actually these have a bit thiner taper than the non nylon version 7A. They are "jazzier" and have more bounce and durability than the wood tipped Manhattan, of course some will always prefer warmer sounding wood tips.
