Sticks are awesome ! If you like a lighter feeling stick but very comfortable feeling. They are firm great rebound. and I just started to explore maple sticks, and love the sound they have on my ride cymbals. I like all the bebop sticks from vater 500, 525 ,550 both in hickory and maple. Just try them u won't be sorry.

Firstly, I love Vater sticks! I've used a lot of Vic Firth sticks in the past, and I can't quite put my finger on what it is exactly (pun intended) but I like Vaters better. These Maple 500s in particular mean you'll never have to use those terrible Hot Rods or any type of rute sticks again just to play softer. Play as soft as you want with these and get the sound you spent all that money on out of your drums and cymbals!
