Vater collaborated with renowned educator Steve Fidyk to design the Swing model. It measures just under a 7A in the grip and this model has a double taper. Meaning that it is slightly thicker towards the middle of the stick than in the grip and then finishes with a very quick and thin taper. The Swing Stick has great sensitivity and exceptionally fast rebound.

A great new stick

I was looking for something new and this is one of 2 Vater sticks I tried for the first time. I love these sticks - I really like the sound I get from my ride cymbal. It really produces that nice "swing" sound The wood on this stick is very nice and clean looking and the varnish is very comfortable.
