Very nice mallets

Comments:

As a student at the University of Oklahoma, almost all students use these on cymbals. They are very versatile mallets. I bought them because it didn't make sense to risk tearing up nice marimba mallets on a cymbal. I'm incredibly happy with them! Boomer sooner!

LOVE these mallets!

Comments:

I LOVE these mallets! Perfect balance and weight for ppp to ffff passages. The shaft is substantial enough for suspended cymbal shoulder crashes, the butts sound perfect for individual notes which require a high degree of articulation. When I'm covering multiple parts, such as BD and suspended cymbal, these produce an acceptable BD tone, and have worked very well for me doing ppp to fff BD crescendo rolls. At the drum set they work well doing show material, the butts sound fine playing time on the hi hat or ride cymbal when there's no time to switch back to regular sticks. Probably the most versatile mallet in my bag, i've even used it for quieter tam-tam parts.

Great Mallets

Comments:

these mallets are AWESOME i used them for auxiliary percussion on rack in the forsyth central high school. the school didnt provide the mallets i just used mine from middle school and they are great. they have a very thick shaft so its almost like a 7A with the mallet head on it. the taper is great for perfect rebound and the head isnt as soft as they display it its a medium hard mallet. makes a great sound. get them and they are great for concert band.
