Great, but not a

Comments:

The stick is alright. My snares in winter used these, but our show had a lot of shots written in, and these sticks just aren't durable enough to handle the shots both in practice AND in performance. This is more of a show stick than anything else. Imagine an SD1 on steroids and you'll have the basic feel for this stick. However, when doing snare solos, this stick is unsurpassed.

AMAZING!

Comments:

These are by far the best sticks I have ever used. The weight is perfect and has great rebound.

Okay

Comments:

These were a nice pair of sticks but they felt light to me. I also would like to point out that it says "Solo Stick". I would not recommend this for a full snare line but it is a great stick to solo with on your own.

Good balance, easy playability

Comments:

These sticks are a nice departure from some of the other sticks available. I actually haven't used a Vic Firth marching snare stick that I don't like, but these rank near or at the top of my list. The reverse taper at the butt fills out nicely in the hand, but because of the slightly smaller shaft in front of the fulcrum, they play very fast and balanced. The round bead has wonderful rebound. They may not be quite as loud as the Hardimon or Beddis stick, but they were not designed to be. My students also really like them. I highly recommend these sticks.
