Shoddy Craftsmanship

These mallets sound nice, but I would advise against purchasing them. For the price the craftsmanship was not good. The heads of the mallets came right off within the first couple of days. I only rehearsed with them twice and kept them safe in a stick bag (I did not abuse them). I have always purchased Vic Firth for their consistency of quality so I am surprised that these mallets were so poorly constructed. Spend your money on a different brand if you are looking for brass mallets.
