Good Pad

Comments:

I have a lot of pads, this one is one of the best. Love the rubber feel, and it's quiet. Mom and Dad, buy this for the kid, wait on the drum until you have ear plugs.

Awesome Pad

Comments:

Very good pad for any marching drummer! To me, this pad gives the same authentic snare drum feel as the Slimpad, but has a much quieter tone. This pad is a must for all marching drummers!

Vic Firth Stock Pad

Comments:

This is a great pad, Hands down. The feel of it is great but I have the older version of the pad, which is a full circle (of rubber) and it is more of a yellowish color. It overall is a great pad for traveling, it is way better than the double sided HQ!! A very light pad, good sound, it doesn't get annoying. It is somewhat quiet, it isn't when you put a laminate on it. It has a great feel of a high tensioned snare or a pair of tenors. I honestly don't like the design and the type of rubber on the new pad. I think the rubber is different, but you may like it. I think Vic Firth should go back to the old style pads, they are more durable. Both designs are good though, they get the job done right!! Buy one! They are awesome with laminates!
