Great clip, terrible steel cable

I got my Wang clip about 8 years ago, so it's possible they've changed materials since then, but the steel cable my clip came with is an abject disaster and a crime against triangles. Playing a triangle on this clip and then another reveals just how much the steel dampens the overtones, leaving you banging away on a deadened instrument, defeating the very purpose of playing triangle. If the cable couldn't be changed, this clip would be worthy of zero stars as it would be completely unusable. The only reason I give it three stars is because you can remove the steel cable and add your own beaded loop ties. The clip itself is good and less than half the price of the Grover clip. Just be advised the steel cable might be glued into one of the holes, so it may take some effort with pliers, but it shouldn't be too much trouble.

Needs a different cord

I agree with the other reviewers regarding the cord. It just kills the resonance of the triangle. I went back to using my old Weiss brand wooden clip (with dual "nubby" cords like the Grover clips have).

Cord issues

The clip itself is great however the cord is too thick. It really kills the resonance of my Abel triangle. Also, one of the loops broke and I planned to replace it with fishing line. However, removing the cord is proving to be very difficult as two pieces of cord are stuffed into a hole that is too small and possibly glued there. Not user friendly in terms of cord replacement.

The clip itself is fine, but what ever cord they use completely kills the triangle. I would use something else with some different cord.
