Wind gongs (also known as Feng or Lion Gongs) are flat bronze discs, with little fundamental pitch, a great windy wash, heavy tuned overtones, and long sustain. Don’t be fooled by others that claim their gongs are hand selected. Weiss Brand Gongs are hand picked from the thousands available from the factories in East Asia, while everyone else is left with the ones that we reject.
