Nice sound for a small wood shaker, very easy use

I generally prefer larger wood shakers but as small ones so, this is the best one I have used, being comfortable in the hands, easy to control and receptive to different playing styles. A nice warm timbre as well, and it's fun to see the carved design on the exterior. You can't go wrong with Jamtown products. They may be cheap, but they aren't designed as children's toys; they are professional level instruments crafted by knowledgeable specialists.

These shakers have a nice smooth mellow timbre. Because each on is so different, they are really good to layer.
