Yamaha DTX6K Electronic Drum Set - Product Information
The Yamaha DTX6K-X Electronic Drum Set features the DTX pads with TCS heads help to achieve a pleasing, natural feel and rebound. The snare features a 3-Zone pads for the snare and ride cymbals that can be choked and muted. Yamaha has developed the pad to have an authentic feel and an extreme sensitivity to the lightest of accents and ghost notes. In addition to the pad feel, Yamaha has laser-analyzed players' stick movement and stroke patterns. These results were then applied to the way the DTX6K-X produces sounds. The experience for the player is very similar to that of playing on acoustic drums in both sound and feel. The cymbal pads also reflect the same capabilities by utilizing 3-zone playing surfaces. The bell, bow, and edge will all express their distinctive sound, including a 360 degree choke zone on all cymbal pads. Players also are able to perform swells and rolls with impressive results.
The Yamaha DTX PRO Sound Module is the brain of this drum set. Included are a large amount of programmed sounds that deliver a versatile repertoire of realistic acoustic drums, a large variety of world music sounds, and contemporary electronic percussion as well. The sound library can be updated easily via a home computer or mobile device. Individual sounds can also be adjusted and saved so the player's personal selection of kits ready to be ready to be played upon start up. Create your own unique sounds with AMBIENCE, COMP and EFFECT kit modifier knobs. A variety of apps such as sound editors are also available to use in conjunction with your DTX PRO. The module has built-in training and practice functions as well, including the ability to track progress, allowing players to achieve goals and become better performers.
The included rack is fully adjustable and will provide a stable frame for the player to achieve the perfect pad positions. The included Hi Hat pedal also achieves an impressive level of authentic feel and response.
