I've been playing music for over 50 years, this is my first vibraphone. I was a little wary about buying something this expensive without seeing one first, but vibes are not all that common in the neighborhood so I took a chance. I'm glad that I did. They were well packed, professionally delivered. The setup was well explained and easy to do. I was concerned about the sound, I didn't need to be, they sound terrific. I can't compare these to other sets, I've never sat behind another set, but what I have is a solid instrument that sounds great and is ideal for my purposes.

Easily the most practical - sounds great too

I purchased these vibes because they certainly sound decent enough for my purposes - small combos, in-class demonstrations. But most importantly is because of the fundamental design - it takes (literally) a few minutes to set up. Place the keyboard upside down; add the legs; flip it and you got a set of vibes (after a few minor adjustments). Thoughtful design - easy to adjust, dampening is beyond decent and ,for their size, a pretty full sound.
