Yamaha Keiko Abe MKA-02 Very Hard Rattan Marimba Mallets

This is the Very Hard Mallet from the Yamaha Keiko Abe Mallet Series (MKA02). The Core has extra weight added to increase the hardness but to compensate the Rattan shaft has been shortened to 400mm to provide for excellent balance. A high quality yarn has been used as the final wrap in this mallet.

This Mallet will serve well as a solo two mallet performance mallet. Perfect for faster intricate passages in the upper octaves of the marimba.
