This is an unusual use of the Tom Trim Guard. I actually play a Yamaha Sousaphone, and I noticed my bell getting scratched around the edges. I was looking for some sort of protection. This looked good from the Pictures. I was able to slip the guard on the bell, with a little pinching, it when on smoothly, and I was able to trim evenly with some special cutters. It looks good, and it is protecting the bell on non plays days and down time. Some other band members commented on the protection and the looks and I shared the remainder of the guard with them.. I may need to order more..This came out as Tuba-rific Dave (The Tuba Guy)

Took a little while to get used to the installation process. Once you've worked with it for a little bit, the process becomes easier. Once they are on, they look great. The only problem is cutting them to match perfectly, so I suggest also buying some Tom Trim End Brackets to make the finish look cleaner.
