This is a pair of Zildjian 15" A Avedis Hi-Hat Cymbals. The Zildjian A Avedis Series is a throwback to the cymbals of the 20's through the 60's. These cymbals were hugely popular during the swing and bebop well into the rock and roll explosion. Zildjian has created this series top have the sound and feel of this era but adds modern fidelity and precise manufacturing techniques.
The physical qualities of these cymbals are thin and loose. They are crafted to have a played-in feel and immense musicality. The Patina finish gives the cymbals a decades old look. The Avedis trademark has the traditional rolled look and the underside has the outlined Zildjian logo.
