Zildjian Finger Cymbals - Thin Pair - Product Information

The Zildjian Thin Finger Cymbals deliver a lower-pitched ring that projects audibly in large ensembles. Additionally they are responsive enough to function is softer more delicate performances. These are made in Zildjian's cast bronze alloy, and also come in a thicker, higher-pitch option.

Nice complement to the thicker finger cymbal pair

Comments:

I ordered the thick pair first, due to some people saying the thinner pair does not project. Indeed, that can be the case in a denser musical setting, but it's nice to have the thinner pair available for more sparse musical settings and even for some slight contrast with the other pair. Based on the model names, I'm guess a medium pair might be in the offing soon. I have had other finger cymbals over the years; none come even close to the Zildjian pairs for clarity, articulateness, warmth, cutting through the mix, and being fun to play.

Best

Comments:

Best pair of finger cymbals you can get. The only exception would be if you need more volume, as these are on the quieter side...for that, get the Zildjian thick pair. However I prefer the tone quality of the thin pair, as they blend more.

Seriously great finger cymbals

Comments:

These are easily some of the best finger cymbals I have ever played. Great fundimental of a m2nd between the two cymbals and amazingly pretty overtones that shimmer like sun on a wind blown lake. The only complaint I have is I would like to try the other pairs to see which is louder because the thins, although they sound amazing, are a little on the quiet side.
