Huber at the Folkwang Hochschule Essen\/Germany. Already during his course, he recieved the Folkwangprize for composition. Supported by a scholarship from the DAAD, he took a course in composition with Iannis Xenakis at the Sorbonne. At the same time he attended lectures in music analysis by Olivier Messiaen and Pierre Boulez.
