As the piece continues, the ensemble and soloist grow further apart musically. In the third section, the ensemble and soloist act independently of each other, in their own specific tempi. After the cadenza, the ensemble and soloist are reunited. From measure 159, the soloist is playing somewhat independent of the ensemble.
