This, by far, is one of the best cymbals I have ever encountered. The crashes are, as stated, thunderous, and though the decay is pretty lengthy, when playing it blends nicely with the other drums. This cymbal is extremely washy, and you can ride it as a crash very well. The ride is nice and clear, the unlathed bell provides a very resonant ring, very satisfying. There are no overtones on this cymbal whatsoever. Truly an amazing piece.
