At the Dillard's request, the work is simple and melodic in nature. The music should flow gently and always remain fluid and transparent. He attended Texas Tech University where he earned a Bachelors of Music in Composition and a Masters of Music in Conducting. Prior to working in Spring ISD he taught for twelve years in Lubbock and Amarillo. Be is an active arranger and a published composer.
