The three instruments are particularly resonant, offering the prospect of sound shimmering and moving through the space. It was this sound material that I was thinking about most, and on which I built the whole piece.\u003c\/p\u003e\r\n\u003cp\u003eThe work is dominated by very stable color planes and aerial textures, like the vibraphone with the bow, or the harp with the rapidly repeated sounds.
