There are two other versions of this piece: one for percussion and two pianos, and one for solo percussion. This piece contains two contrasting movements. The first part is slowly meditating, picturing, poetic. The second part is fast and possesses an enormous rhythmical drive. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe rhythmical material is based on the Indian tala structure. This is a period of a certain number of beats, in which - through the use of accents and ornaments - different variations are obtained.
