Next comes \"Childhood,\" a happy playful section representing the innocence of most every child. Following \"Childhood\" is \"Adult Life,\" a more serious, pondering section, presented with an ostinato in the tom-toms and solo passages for snare drum and high toms. The snare drum cadenza represents \"declaration of the heavens\" followed by the timpani cadenza. This juxtaposition is meant to be a good vs evil dialogue. \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe latter portion of Jesus's life is played out with sections entitled \"Turmoil,\" \"The Walk up Skull Hill\" and \"Crucifixion.\" During the Crucifixion the anvils represent hammer and nails, and the tom-toms portray the fading heartbeat.
