This edition contains a piano reduction of the accompaniment.  \u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003ci\u003e Zarabanda \u003c\/i\u003e is in a Latin style  that occassionally is interrupted by accented outburts from the accompaniment.  The soloist alternates between xylophone, for the more accented staccato passages and scales, and the marimba, for the more melodic material.   The \"zarabanda\" is a late 16th and 17th century Spanish dance in a lively alternating 6\/8 and 3\/4 time.","brand":"C.
