While I wish the back pockets were a little smaller, this is an amazing stick bag and fits all my sticks nicely.

Good beginning stick bag. Comfortably fits maybe 6 pairs of marimba/vib/timp mallets and all the sticks you'll need. Good padding on the outside for the price. Works great for a beginner percussionist's needs.

This stick bag is really good and has room for music in the inside pockets. I love all the different sized pockets. I also like that there are different ways to carry and hang it on your instrument. There's also room for putting future sticks/mallets and small accessories. A good purchase!

So I accidentally broke the zipper of my school's stick bag so I went put to buy a new one. I originally was going to buy the same one but I found this one that was cheaper so I bought this one. Its very roomy and holds everything perfectly, the material is perfect and its a lot larger than I thought it would be.

I bought this stick bag as a gift for a student of mine. It has a ton of useful pockets for a metronome or anything else a musician might need. There seems to be ample space for sticks and mallets of all types and the price is reasonable. In my opinion, a good buy.

If you're looking for something not too expensive and holds a decent amount of sticks/mallets this is a good choice. The only thing is, if you're are big into categorizing things it is slightly hard. The strap is durable for a light amount if you double strap the harness. Still a great product!

Needing limited mallets and other practice tools, such as books, assignment sheets and metronome, the carry case I purchased is a perfect fit for attending a lesson.

I've had this bag for a couple of weeks now and I got to say it's an awesome bag. All of my sticks and music folder fits perfectly, along with my shuttle pad. There's a couple cons about this bag. 1. The stitch will eventually tear at the bottom of the inside bag. But if you can get someone to restitch it, then it will be good as new. 2. They only pockets for sticks is on the right side, the rest is just a big pocket for your folders. You can put sticks and mallets but it won't stay stationary. This would be perfect for someone who can't afford an expensive stick bag. I would suggest this bag to anyone in need of a stick bag for about $17.00. Can't beat that price, hope my review helps you.

I am a high school percussionist who is looking to really get serious with percussion. This bag was definitely a step in the right direction. For such a high quality stick bag of this size the price is amazing. It was a fair amount larger than what I expected and I am able to fit all my sticks and mallets plus my music inside the bag. I can definitely see myself sticking with this bag for a long time.

Decided to take a risk purchasing this bag, because of it's great price. I must say I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived. This bag is much more padded than I expected, and the material seems very durable, including the zipper. Inside pockets are deep allowing for longer marimba mallets. Inside pocket design is comparable to Vic Firth SBAG2, with two small zippered pouches perfect for shorter implements or accessorie. Outside velcro pouch is great for small accessories (woodblock, triangle, drum keys, pencils, beaters, etc.) but not quite large enough for books or sheet music. If I could change one thing, I would make more dividers within the inside stick pockets for greater organization and to prevent sticks from clumping together when the bag is opened.

I have all of my students use this bag. You can't get a better bag for the price. It will hold enough mallets for your advanced middle school percussionist, and it is durable.

This may be a good bag for a beginer, but I was not satisfied with it. It was not tall enough to fit my marimba mallets, and the outside pocket barely fits 8.5" x 11" papers.

This is a great bag at a great price! For the student percussionist, or for someone needing an extra mallet bag, or for that quick rehearsal or concert, this mallet bag work well. Outer pocket will hold about 10 - 15 pieces of sheet music plus a method book if needed. Enough room inside for 2 pairs timpani mallets, 4 pairs marimba / vibes mallets, plus a pair each for xylophone and bells, plus a couple of pairs of snare drum sticks without over packing at all. Not for Bass Drum mallets. Durability is OK for moderate use, but if using every day as a prime mallet bag - one might choose another bag for that reason only. Overall, though, I recommend this bag to all my students.
